The FBI is still looking for a suspect in a fatal stabbing that occurred on Andrews Air Force Base Sunday ( July 14) evening.

Air Force security personnel responded to an emergency call from the base commissary at 6: 55 p.m. and found Tom F. Johnson of Calvert County suffering from stab wounds.

"He was found stabbed to death in his office," said Barry Maddox, spokesman for the FBI's Baltimore office.

Maddox would not release any other details of the Johnson's death because of the ongoing investigation.

Emergency personnel pronounced Johnson dead at 7:05 p.m.

Johnson, 49, was the store administrator and a valued employee according to one high-ranking officer.

"The wing is deeply saddened by the untimely death of Mr. Johnson," said Col. Dane Martin, 89th Airlift Wing vice commander. "As a federal employee for 32 years, Mr. Johnson made a valuable contribution."

The FBI did not release any information regarding the suspect, and said that they were following all available leads.

Johnson leaves behind a wife and daughter.
